Fireclay

This selection includes standard firebricks crafted from calcined fire clay, tailored to fit the specific needs of customers. Conversely, Superduty bricks are composed of a blend of chamotte, high purity calcined kaolin, and sillimanite. SX grades stand out for their minimal impurities, low porosity, and remarkable thermal creep resistance, making them ideal for applications such as glass regenerators, blast furnaces, and aluminum anode baking. These high-quality bricks are suitable for use up to a temperature limit of 1550°C.

Sillimanite and Andalusite

The Sillimanite refractories are classified based on their alumina content, which ranges from 50% to 62%. These refractories primarily consist of sillimanite and calcined alumina, fired at high temperatures. The resulting refractory boasts low glass content, low porosity, and high strength, making it suitable for application temperatures up to 1600°C.

On the other hand, the Andalsuite refractories exhibit a versatile range of alumina content, from 55% to 70%. These refractories are made from a combination of andalusite and fused alumina, fired at temperatures up to 1700°C. As a result of this process, the refractory undergoes in-situ mullitization, leading to exceptional hot properties such as Creep and HMOR. These refractories are appropriate for application temperatures up to 1700°C.

Mullite and Corundum

In the 70-99% alumina class, these refractories are predominantly made using synthetic materials like fused mullite, fused alumina, and tabular alumina. The crucial factor behind their exceptional performance lies in their high mullite-corundum phase and the absence of any glassy phase. As a result, these refractories exhibit remarkable attributes, including very high hot strength, excellent abrasion resistance, resistance to chemical attack, and outstanding volume stability. They are perfectly suited for application temperatures up to 1800°C.
